My Sushi is a total lap baby. She has never played, she only wants to be in my lap. When the weather is nice I put her out with my other 2 furbabies to play but she just stands at the door waiting for me to come get her. Scooby & Sasha will sit in my lap for short periods of time, then they get down to play & explore.
