My puppy was barking at me and getting in a charge position and growling. Someone told me to look her in the eye & tell her no. That didn't work but Ytrs told me to show her whose Alpha in this house. I take a flyswatter and hit the side of her gate or cage to startle her then she stops. (suggested by the breeder) She is still nipping but It's getting better. I clap my hands real loud at her and tell her "that's no" or bad girl. Works sometimes, but she still tries to test me. They will try to dominate, but I didn't have this problem with Kodak. I am always looking for more suggestions. She will not rule me or this house.
I heard about spraying just plain water in the face, I didn't know about the vinegar. They do need to be startled back to reality that Humans rule. The pennies in a can sound good to.
