I completely understand the meaning behind the donations...to help ensure that everyone is participating. but I don't mind taking on the role of making sure that everyone is. and if you do not receive a package one month...at least a card in the mail, then I would want to know about it so I can assign a new pal. I will work out a system that will keep up with this. as far as rules..there has to be some guidelines in place. I think once a month is very fair. I think that it would give someone a sense of how often and I dont think that once a month is too often.
Even if people donate $5 to YT, they can still fall off the face of the earth. I "donate" $35 a month to a local gym and haven't been in 3 months
so I really don't think requiring a donation will ensure that someone will stick around and participate. there is no fail proof plan, but I will keep in touch with everyone involved.
