I think it will all depend on the hotels policy. I was a manager at a pet friendly hotel for over 4 years and would probably have gotten fired if I had a kennel pick up a guests dog without their knowing of it. If we had the guests phone number we would call them, and possibly move surrounding guest if it was a bother. If your still considering the hotel you could call ahead of time so your well aware of how they would handle the situation. Either way Im sure everything will be just fine, the practice night at the doggie hotel sounds like a good idea too. Then you can talk to the people after and find out how your baby managed.
