 Hector is sick too.
Hi there. My little guy Hector is 3 months. We have had him for three weeks and he has been sick since we got him. I have been taking him to the vet every week. They were basically thinking he had an Upper Respitory Infection and put him on Amonxidrops for 2 weeks, it did not clear up fully and they switched him to clavinox. He has been on that since Friday. I have noticed a huge change. He is not coughing anymore, but has so much flem and gunck in his chest I can hear it as he breathes. I am not sure if this is a good sign that he is getting better and it is breaking up or if it is a sign it is getting worse. I am worried it is turning into Pneumonia. I am so sorry to hear about your little baby. It is so hard when they are so little and so sick. I am going to try the humidifyer tonight. I have used that with my children and it has worked well. But I have always used steam / warm air humidifyers. Hope this helps at all. |
