I personally couldn't put a cat out since mine are indoor only, and all three are desexed. (plus a bengal would get stolen, hehe)

I'm really not worried though. I think my tiny 6lb cat will be the one to react the most if a puppy came at her, but she'd most likely run away to avoid it.

We had a five week old kitten in our home for two weeks, and I let it roam around the last two days after I had it tested, and it had it's first shots. (we adopted it out)

My Yuki (the bengal) was *very* curious about it, but pretty gentle. He mostly walked over to it, then ran away, walked over to it, ran away, and then tried to play. He seemed to understand that it was a baby, although he did make it fall down a couple of times. :P

My third cat held the kitten down and gave it a bath, lol... she'd probably be the same way around a puppy, if it is smaller than she is. (and she is around 14lbs)
