My issue with the teacup term is that it seems like it USUALLY means one of two things are going on:

///either the breeder is trying to cash in on the teacup craze by charging outrageous bucks for dogs that really don't end up being any smaller than average...or....

///....the breeder IS specifically trying to breed for the smaller sizes, and produces them regularly to call themselves a "teacup" breeder.

You might not think anything sounds wrong with that second scenario, HOWEVER....it's the tiny yorkies that come out of that kind of breeding program that DO often end up having many health issues.

Either way, I would just personally AVOID a breeder whose focus is on SIZE. There are so many more important issues!
