Even if Rosie didn't become a Therapy Dog, she could still spread a lot of sunshine at nursing homes or assisted living centers, as Genie suggested.
My parents live in an assisted living center & when we take Muffin there, it's an event! They all love her & can't wait for her to come. When she had 2 surgeries in December & January, my parents had to keep everybody posted on how she was doing &, most importantly, when she'd be coming back! It makes the residents so happy, Muffin loves all the attention & I feel like I'm doing something to cheer people who often don't get visitors. I think that's therapy...for all of us!
