Our 3 year-old Penny does this as well. I've been trying to come up with a solution. We put a tennis ball in her bowl on top of her food and that helped for awhile. Of course, now she's just as skilled manuevering around the ball and gulps it down just as quickly as before.
I would love to hear if others have suggestions. When I posted on this before I didn't get much help.
