I wouldn't correspond with him for two reasons (in my humble opinion):
1. If he is investigated and you are corresponding with him regarding this,
you would certainly have to explain and hope it would be believed.
2. If he is a scammer, there is nothing about yourself that he should
know.... not even your e-mail address.
The reason they can't spell correctly is because they do not know our language well enough to spell it properly or even how to use the words correctly.
