Whew! I'm SO glad I'm not the only "paranoid" mommy out there! Thanks for fessing up ladies
I took Braxton in to the vet because he had what looked like "eye boogers" in his wiskers by his mouth. I was terrified he had some fungus growing in his mouth or something. His teeth looked fine - no bad breath but I figured as soon as I didn't take him, my kids would break out with a rash or trench mouth or something!
So the vet was very polite - she checked his heart and lungs, looked in his mouth, ears...listened to me closely...then told me to just take him home and clean him up. He probably just drools when he sleeps. *DOH* HE DOES - I didn't even think about that!
$45 please!
Better safe than sorry. I would have worried sick had I not taken him in.
