The only advice I can offer on pad training is to praise, praise, praise when they go where they are supposed to go and offer a treat afterward and tell him he's a good doggie. They respond to praise, because they want nothing more than to please you.
Yes. You're in for a good deal of chewing yet. Bully sticks are good to keep them chewing on something besides you and your furniture. Just toss them away when they get too short so they can't swallow the small bit whole.
Clothing. Just keep at it. Eventually, he'll take to it. But if he's not going out when you are putting it on him, then there is really no reason to force it on him if he doesn't like it other than to keep him warm. Most yorkies prefer nudity to wearing clothes anyway.
Food. What are you feeding him?
