When we were showing our house in Florida a man from Scotland looked at it and asked us where we were moving to. We told him we were heading back to Illinois and he looked shocked. His reply was "The Midwest...man...you people are a sturdy lot!" He went on to say that he could never handle the wild weather we get here and he thought we were brave for heading back home! Is that the impression other people have about us Midwesterners?
