Good morning.
Thanks so much to all of you for your compassionate and heartfelt replies. Having read most of the stories here on the R.I.P. thread, I know we are not alone in our feelings of loss for Piper. Many of you have gone or are still going through the same terrible grief we all have to endure when we lose those we love. It does help to talk to others.
My daughter has actually admitted to me that someday she'll want another yorkie. Right after Piper died, she wasn't sure, but, I knew it was just the shock. So, there is hope in the future. I know there are stages of grief you go through before acceptance allows you to remember only the good times.
It does amaze me that I, or Jessie, had never found the YT boards before this week. There is a wealth of information here and the group as a whole seems so friendly and helpful. I look forward to becoming an active participant, yakking about these adorable furkids!
Chrissie, I live in Central Jersey, Somerville. Not quite sure where Pinehill is......will have to look it up on a map.
Thanks again everyone for the kind words and prayers. They mean so much to us.
