My vet is out of town for the week and so I am reaching out to YT for any info you might have. This is my first experience with a litter and I'm not sure what exactly to expect. My fur babies were born on Saturday, 02-03, and had their tails docked on Monday, 02-05 (a week ago today). I was holding one of the little ones this evening and noticed that the tip of his tail was bright red, slightly swollen, and looked raw. I am wondering if his mom has been licking it. I instantly looked at the other three babies and they are all healing nicely. Is there something I should put on it and is this normal? Any suggestions or wisdom would be appreciated.
