I did a puppy obedience class with Simon and he learned the basics but I was still having some issues (like him trying to bolt out the door) and I don't think Hallie had ever been trained (I got her when she was 2.5) so I hired a personal trainer last October.
He is AMAZING! He came into my apartment and trained me
I really liked the one on one attention he gave Simon and Hallie and it worked, we are really doing better!
I highly recommend a personal trainer over classes but I have adult dogs which are more difficult to train anyway~
