I wish I purchased from you. My breeder seemed nice but not Parvo savy at all. Please share your thoughts after reading what I have learned. try to have an open mind about the parvo waiting period, from what 3 different vets had say, there is a lot of confusion and misinformation about the waiting period. I am open to all your thoughts"
I read the thread on Parvo. And it does say that bleach will kill the virus. My only concern would be "what if I missed a spot?" or "an area". I'd be scared to death personally. Yes, there's a lot of misinformation and confusion about this desease and the recommended waiting period. And what works for one, is not always the best. The information on the TAMIFLU and the NEOPAR is good information. I will keep searching for info on these two.
If you do go ahead and get a puppy, make sure you have his shot record!! Preferrable from a vet. (I'm going to get slammed here by the breeders that give their own shots. Sorry guys. I know we give our own shots (me included!). And that's not usually a problem. But if you don't know the breeder or have a reference for the breeder, you never know if what the breeder says is truthful.) And keep up with the shots in the time recommended. So many people (and I am not saying "YOU") forget to get the shots when they are needed and have to re-do shots.
I still say, wait. 6 months is not an eternity!!
I wish you the best of luck with this.
