 Shampoo
I have been using Mane and Tail shampoo for horses on my yorkies. It is very inexpensive and works wonders. I use a inexpensive conditioner like Suave unscented. I have tried all different types since the 70's and I am amazed at how the coats are soft and silky and grow like grass. I have stopped wrapping two of my males and their coats are still touching the ground and not brittle with split ends. I wash the guys aboyt every 3 to four days and there is not a single mat or tangle when the conditioner is rinsed out. I try not to brush them between baths as brushing dry coats seems to cause hair loss. I just work on the top knots.
