Bless his heart. Won't be long and he will be back in the food dish again. You can make freezer pops by freezing canned dog food. Just fill ice cube tray with the softer food and freeze it. They love it, because the cold feels so good on their gums. They also make toys that you can freeze. They are wonderful. If the frozen dog food doesn't work, then scrambled egg or fine minced boiled chicken is very good too. If at all possible, keep him on dry dog food is the best choice. You will need to add water and make a mush out of it. You could even add a tsp. or so canned food to it, to give it a little more flavor. This way, when he gets his teeth back, he won't be spoiled to human food. I hope this helped.
