Everything your pup is doing is perfectly normal. Being only 10wks he dosen't know better. Everything is game at this point. He has to be taught what is his and what is not. I would not say a male is more difficult to train than a female. In general Yorkies are known to be very difficult to train however it is not impossible. Buddy was trained by 5mos. It was a very time consuming
process however in the end determination paid off. I never used a pee pad.
Only outside potty permitted. You need a schedule to follow and follow it daily. He will get it eventually. They are no different than a baby. Would a baby at 10wks know not to potty in it's diaper? Your only getting started so be patient. Use an x-pen or play pen or put a gate up across the kitchen limiting space for him. Monitor him when he is not in that space. Yorkies are
very smart. Only time will make him the pet you want.
