I checked her food (Science Diet Puppy) and they don't mention calcium in the ingredients. So I'll need to get it to her some how. |
too much can interfere with the absorption of zinc, iron and magnesium and may increase the risk of kidney stones. puppy food should have sufficient amount. you only want to supplement after the puppies are born if she doesn't have enough milk to supply. unless your vet advise you of supp, i wouldn't do it. pls when you have a chance, spk w your vet.
