My 4 yr old, 5lb Rocky was just neutered last month. He did real well. I bought him a can of food to eat for a couple of days. It's easy on his belly. He was kind of slow for a couple of days but no sign of pain. He was bruised along his penis and lower abdomen for the rest of the week. His incision healed well and the stitches fell out. I went out the first night and bought an e-collar. He kept wanting to lick. He only wore it through the evening and part of the night. I like the onsie idea from Marcerella02. He'll be fine. |
