I have gotten really lucky with Mimi's coat, shes got such a nice heavy silk that I did get away with not wrapping and just keeping her in oil. We have coat down to the ground, shes not showing anymore but I just can't cut her down, her coat is really easy to care for, we got some split ends but nothing major.

Chrissy - Kee has the heavy silk coat too and so easy to care for. I was just keeping her in coat but noticed over the last month it has not gotten past the floor. And her muzzle hair needs the wraps too. She is in the house and has free roam - so could be reason why. I am going to try the wraps this month and see if we get anymore growth. Just doing the oil seemed to work great for the longest time. Mimi is gorgeous too. Has she finished?
I am hoping Kee can finish this year (2007). If she does - she will be a young one to finish for my area. Most of the ones getting the points here are 3-4 years of age. Kee is only 21 months.
