Yes the honey is for help to regulate thier sugar levels. SOme people dont like honey though at all. But in my experience it works very well for my puppies.
I dont use it because I know they are suffering from hypoglycemia, I just use it for a boost and it stimulates their appetite. They eat much better. If I leave it out when I have a puppy who really needs it, many times they refuse the supplement, and I have to force feed it instead of them taking it happily. |
