This actually happens to Katy a daycare. On of the dogs does not like bows in anyones hair.

Here is what I do. I put the grooming band in make it tighter. Then use bows with french barrettes on them. Slip the barrette between the band and the head.

This should make it harder for them to come out. When it is time to remove the band, snip the band rather than pull it out to avoid pulling on the hair. Becareful not to grab any hair when you snip.

Good Luck!

Jolie is really good about grooming and will lay patiently and enjoys getting brushed.
Jen on the other hand will not lay on her back for me, struggles to run when I brush her, so getting the band in her hair to hold back the top is a challenge.

Then, poof! A few hours later I have two Cousin Itt's! They even try to pull out Jazzie's bands and when I come home from work my beautiful Jazzie looks like she was in a cat fight!

The twins are 5-1/2 month now.

Any advise?
