My daughter's chi had her baby teeth pulled when she was spayed just recently, and she was 18 months old and 1lb 12oz! But her breath was kickin' until that second set was removed. We were afraid of anesthesia because of her weight but she developed a blood infection from the rotting baby teeth and it became necessary to save her life. She is fine and recovered in a few days.
PS: It's now 2 months later and her breath stinks again! Time for Scope!
