I am glad someone else also experiences these weird times.
Buddy has done that in the past until I told him no growling. He seems
to understand that now but the newest thing is bringing a toy under the bed at night and protecting it! I reached for the quilt the other night and he actually layed across my chest and growled at me thinking I was going to get it I guess. I waited a few minutes then got up turned on the light and threatened his life as I removed the toy from the bedroom. He because very
docile then and begged for forgiveness. No more toys in the bedroom at night.
I have no clue what goes through their minds be he does challenge me from time to time. I will never allow him to be above me ever. But he does try.
