I definately plan on getting her to a trainer if we decide to keep her.

As far as the other behaviors you describe in this post, most all of them are normal - annoying, but normal - dog behaviors. I personally have never met a dog who didn't "hoover" the floor for crumbs. Look at the bright side of that one - it means less sweeping for you!

Yes, its extremely annoying and drives me insane!

As far as getting up on tables and high chairs to get to food, there is a simple cure for that although I doubt you'll like it. Keep the table and high chair cleared off when no-one is sitting there. If you pup isn't reinforced by finding food and crumbs, she'll soon stop jumping up there. I've had this issue with Joey - he can actually jump up on my kitchen counters! But, if I am very conscientious for a while about making sure I don't leave any unattended food out, he will stop.

See I disagree with the above as I feel that a dog should never get up on chairs etc especially the kitchen table no matter what is on top of it. There should just be places or things that are just forbidden to them and should be made known that they are forbidden to them.

She actually stole a taco off the table while my son was in the process of eating it. He got of his chair for a second to get a napkin and the taco was on the floor due to the dog jumping on the chair then table for it and it fell on the floor. I think this is totally unexceptable behavior on all levels for a dog. No dog should ever be doing that!

It sounds like you have your hands very full right now.
Yeah I do and I am not liking it very much and if she doesnt shape up she will be shipped out!
