My mom got her little maltipoo from the local pound in her county at 1 yr. old.....she has been the best little dog, never got above six pounds but is so so sweet. She is going on 16 years old now. I rescued my Kallie from an unpleasant situation but not from an organization. And Toby we bought from an individual who just couldn't keep him anymore because of a work situation. Kallie was 2 when we got her but still not housetrained and Toby was six months when we got him.......not housetrained. BUT glad to say they are both 100% housetrained now. Kallie is 4 1/2 yrs. old and Toby is now 15 months old. I love my babies!!
