The eye flash thing isn't a steadfast rule - there are exceptions. There will be silky coats who have a red eye flash and cotton coats that have green eye flash. I also didn't realize this till I started searching through these threads. There are some great links out there that go into the scientific reasoning behind the eye thing. I'll see if I can find them.
