Poor baby - we have two girls now after only having boys previously... Gypsy Rose is nearly 2 yrs old now and we had her spayed after her 1st season a year ago (yes she was late.. and that is normal to have them done after 1st season in Wales!).. omg was I worried but she was fine.... 1st day I was so worried but by next afternoon she was by the front door waiting to go "walkies!!" . Little Gizzie is even later than Gyps and she is 1 next month and no sign of a season yet and our vet won't spay her until then..!!
Best of luck to Dolce - she WILL be fine .. I know how I worried but you feel so good afterwards as you know you have done the right thing!
I dressed Gyps in what you call a baby's "onesie" - we call it a babygro... as I hate those awful Elizabethan collars..!! It stops them getting the stiches out and thehy look cute too..!! Ana xx
