Lots of good tips have already been given! We have stayed in lots of hotels with Toto. The first thing I do before I let Toto on the floor is check the entire floor, especially under the edge of the bedspread, for stuff that housekeeping overlook! You would be surprised .... chips, paperclips, safety pins, etc. get pushed under drapes, beds, tables ... any little nook or crannie!
Also, when your baby is free to play in the room, please, please be careful of the door being opened and closed! Before we learned any better, Toto ran out into the hallway and she almost got squashed once because the automatic door closer closed too quickly!
After awhile we learned all the little dangers and pretty much have a routine .... while Patrick is bringing up luggage, I "police" the room!! Good luck!
