Wow, it took me alot of reading, and I just want to say I'm really glad Lexie is back home. You just never know sometimes and in this case I'm glad there was a happy ending. I do not know that I could have remained even remotely calm at the mere mention of the word euthanasia in a situation such as this.
It's mind blowing that someone would have even considered that regarding Lexie. Our little 9 yr old yorkie girl Chelsea bit my husband once when he smacked me on the thigh while we were "playing around" and yeah buddy we should have just "turned her over to animal control right then and there!" NOT! I'm sure Lexie was going through alot emotionally anyway with going to a new home, and being with children she didn't know..heck she didn't know what what going on... and it saddens me to hear of folks with no patience or understanding for dogs what so ever.

I'm glad you have her back. My hat goes off to everyone who helped in this. You guys are great.
