did the vet check Adrian for bladder stones? Blood in the urine is one of the symptoms and yorkies are prone to them. They're diagnosed on xray and have to be removed surgically. Usually the dog will be prescibed a special dog food (low protein) for the rest of its life so the stones don't come back.
