We recently bought our first Yorkie from a reputable local breeder. He has now been part of the family for 3 weeks. I just got back from my first vet visit and was a bit shocked by his weight. "Jacob" is 16 weeks old today and is already 4.5 lbs. Is he going to be gigantic? We love him no matter what, but he is bred from 2 champions so we were expecting 7lbs or less. The vet says he is perfectly healthy and in no way overweight. Also, any tips on transitioning him from pad training to outdoors? He goes with us willingly on the leash but still seems to prefer the pad for his business... Thanks!
