For the first 4 weeks I had FREE STANDING food in his bowl, but then I started realizing how much he eats, and now I put some in a bowl 2 x a day, but also if there is some left, I leave it in there, and there usually is some left.
That brings up a question also.........mine eats only about 1/4 c. a day, is that enough?? He USUALLY has some left at the end of the day, but not always.
