Congrats on your new puppy! The same thing happened to my with Dunks, except the peeing part -- he had A LOT of accidents! But yeah, when my bf surprised me for Christmas with a Yorkie, he slept through the night, but I was the one who couldnt sleep. I watched him all night... but there he was, on his back in his bed fast asleep. I would go to him and try to wake him up, but no use--he opened his eyes, looked at me and went back to bed. So adorable. I called in that day to work coz of lack of sleep... and Dunks didn't bark for awhile either. He still rarely barks at all... My dog sleeps through the night still. He only goes potty when HE wakes me up at 6:00 am so I can walk him to his pee pee pad which is about 5 feet away from my bed. Then he would crawl back in bed with me. He's such a weird dog! But I love him to pieces. He does whimper now when I leave him in his play pen, but for a short period of time only...
