NO their ears should NOT smell, that's a sign that something is not right. Usually yeast forms when their ears get wet. You need some kind of drying solution to put in there after baths/swimming
After it's all cleared up of course
Don't bathe him until the vet says it's all gone, and make sure you use a drying solution in his ears, just squirt a good amount in there, rub the base of his ears to work it in, then let him shake
