I found a tick on my pillow over a month ago and I wanted to die! I went immediately to the Vet and bought Advantix plus.Later I found another tick ,this one on Cookie. Well I have NEVER grabbed a tick or flee with my bare nails and I did! I took it to the bathroom and popped it in a tissue. There was NO blood and instead of blood it was this nasty black liquid??? Was it because it was being poisoned by the Advantix? The package says that Ticks and Fleas die if they try to bite your dog once you put the medicine on their back... This is the second month that I put it on both of them and I have not see any more anywhere. I vaccumed, I bought spray for ticks and fleas and sprayed all cracks,windows..everywhere!
Good luck, I think they are totally gross too!
