My husband said that if he knew then what he knows now about how much it takes to go to medical school (time, energy, money, effort), he would not do it. It's REALLY REALLY hard. Why do you think doctors have the second highest divorce rate in the country? It's because they're never home.
Nursing, on the other hand, is a lot less stressful. My sister is loving it. I think the key to that is getting into a field you enjoy.
