I made an appointment to see the vet and as soon as she felt it she told me it was normal. Wish she would have told me that before and saved me the $50, LOL!!! She actually said that her dog still has the hard spots and its been years. It kinda makes me nervous and I wish they didn't use those type of stitches but nothing I can do about it now. Anyways, thought I'd tell that your little girl is probably not having the runs due to that. Good Luck to you. I sure hope your little one gets better soon.
the 'hard spots' you feel are most likely scar tissue. the stitches that are used to sew up inside tissues are 100% dissolvable. It take 120 days i believe for them to fully dissolve. so anything else your feeling is scar tissue, which is normal.
