Welcome...your pup is over 2 pounds at 9 weeks..so he might have been just at 2 pounds at 8 weeks..if you triple the weight, he will be in the 6 pound range, prehaps a touch more..a better estimate is to double the 12 week weight.
I am not doubting the size of the dam, but as a long time breeder who has stud service available..I can not count the people who call and said they 3 female to breed...I do not breed a tiny bitch..so out comes the scales because it was so obvious the female was more in the 5 to 6 pound range. |
