I had my baby neutered at the end of december i also got him the e-collar i left it on him that night but then during the day i took it off i found that he would walk and his head would lean down alot and he would drag the collar and bump into everthing after the second day i never saw him picking on his stitches or anything so i never put it back on. Unless you see your dog picking on the stitches then you should put on but i think 14 days is wayy toooo long
