I completely understand what you are going through, Chloe's hair is always a mess. Its so cottony that she gets matts on a daily basis! She will let me brush her but when it comes to the matts, you might as well forget them, I sometimes just cut them out. LOL! Its not as bad as it sounds. If I were you I would take her to the groomer and see what they can do. Its not that bad really. She will be fine, and she will look really nice afterwards.
