I am 100% serious. I finally chose the career I want. Hotel GM. I had never worked at a hotel so I called around til I found one hiring for front desk, went for the interview, wasnt feeling so gutsy at the end, went back in Said I want this job, I can do it, I can start immediately, the manager kinda looked at me like I was crazy & said you know its just part time/no benefits, I said thats great cause I only like working half of the time
Got to my car put my head on the stearing wheel said stupid stupid stupid, you & your stupid joking just cost you a job. Went in to the grocery store-when I came out they had called my cell, home phone & left a email. I called them & they said I got the job. 7 months later I got a itch & called to find another front desk/night auditor position, got that one too making $1.25 more on the hour, nice raise in only 7months. So I am putting in my 12-24 month experience & already took a hotel management coarse. Set Em up & Knock Em down, I'm talkin about goals. I wanna travel when my kids graduate so that will give me the oppurtunity. But I had the same additude when I interviewed for Mcdonalds 11 yrs ago & when I managed a apartment complex at 23 yrs old.
