I read somewhere on on the net about a breeder who lost all her puppies to parvo after they recieved their vaccines. I don't remember where I read it but seems like it had to do with a certain company that made the vaccines ? maybe something with the word DODGE in it, I can't remember. Did the puppy recieve all the vaccines from the same vet? I have heard that parvo can live for 7 years in the ground, did your puppy go outside? I don't think that they are completely vaccinated against it unless they have had all their shots and then it isn't 100%. I hope its not parvo but maybe he has recieved enough antibodies from the vaccines to fight off most of the virus. I hope he gets well soon. Also if he does have parvo and he does have some antibodies from the previous shots maybe the virus is not as bad as it would have been and that is why he doesn't have all the symptoms of parvo...??? |
