My advice is to just be patient. When we brought Kenzi into our home, Jilly Bean was none to happy. They both wanted to be the alpha dog. They tolerated each other but when it came time to play, get affection or sit on my lap there were growls or even knock down drag out fights almost daily. I had to break them up and use the Dog Whisperer technique on them both and I must say that it has been several weeks since there has been an altercation and they are actually playing with one another. Made me a believer.

In time, perhaps the two can be the best of friends! I followed Gwen's story, in fact I was glued to the computer while it was going on. Good luck to you.
