Bogey learned to sit with his treat also. But we started to use sit other than with a treat. He would have to sit when we opened the door & before he could go outside ( I didn't want him to run outside everytime the door was opened) he would have to sit. He knows even if the back door opens we have to tell him he can go outside or we tell him stay & he sits. We also made him sit before other events. He now sits when you tell him to no matter what's coming next.
