I use plain yogurt, and add fresh fruit like small pieces of banana, or apple.

When i first started cooking i was lost too, but once you get the hang of it, and figure out different recipes you will be fine, i forgot to add in my previous post, that i also put fresh garlic in their food. I cook a big batch, put their daily portions in zip lock bags, and freeze them. I warm it up a little, and add the vitamins, and yogurt.
