I still have a 19 yr old daughter (in college, but lives at home)and a 17 yr old son at home. My daughter is usually very good about watching the dogs. She worries more than I do, but my son wellllll that's a differant story. If we are going to be gone and he's in charge... I tell him to put the baby (Abbie) into her kennel if he can't keep a close watch on her. Reesie is completely house broken so I don't worry about her. I don't like coming home to messes either and Abbie will sit by the door briefly when she has to potty. I can't depend on my son to see that brief moment so she's usually in her kennel when we get home. Sometimes at our house we have to have the "Come to Jesus Meetings". This straightens everyone up for a while. |
